As God's number 1 priority is Love, I thought it only appropriate to post my number one, all-time favorite scripture. For me it is the perfect Valentine love poem.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails…
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 13.

Learn to Love Yourself

I receive a daily newsletter from the (in)courage website and in one of them last week, one of the authors was talking about that small voice we all have in our heads, the one that constantly criticizes and belittles us. She added the following scriptures for dealing with those voices.

I knew you before you were born. I created your inner most being. (Psalm 139)

You are my child (1 John 3:1)

I love you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

You are my workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)

I have redeemed you. (Ephesians 1:7)

You are beautiful (Psalm 45:11)

I chose you, you are mine (Epehsians 1:4, Colossians 3:12, 1 Thessalonians 1:4)

You are no longer a slave. (Galatians 4:7)

You are a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

So whenever, those voices start whispering to you, look at these verses again, print them off and hang them on your bathroom mirror if you have to, just read them over and over until the voices in your head become more postitive and loving. And the whispering has become God's voice repeating his constant love and admiration for YOU!

Be An Encourager

Are you an encourager or a discourager to those you love? Read this...

"Someone has well said that discouragement is a dark room where the negatives of fear and failure are developed. There are some who are encouragers and others who are discouragers. Have you ever met a discourager? They are like a drink of water to a drowning man. They can brighten up a room by leaving it. They leave you drained and depressed. But an encourager leaves you full and refreshed. God has cornered the market on encouragement. All encouragement comes from God. You're never more like God than when you are encouraging people and never more like the devil than when you are discouraging people."

A Prayer For All

May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you've never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, a true and undying love for God.
